英国《金融时报》引述消息指，英国政府法律部长及法务部常务秘书琼斯，因拒绝接受首相约翰逊的提议，撤回去年脱欧协议中与北爱尔兰有关的部分内容而离职，若消息属实，琼斯将成为年内第六位高级官员离职，市场忧虑约翰逊倾向选择无序脱欧方向，或引发新一轮的政府官员辞职潮，使英国政治不确定性升温，拖累英镑急挫并失守 1.30 美元水平。
