德国将停止欧央行购债计划
德国最高法院裁决指，因应欧央行购债计划部份违宪，故裁定德国央行必须在未来 3 个月内，停止按照欧央行的长期刺激计划购买国债，除非欧洲央行可以证明计划的必要性，不过裁决不适用於最新抗疫计划。案件可追溯至 3 年前，当时德国法院反对德央行参加公共部门买债计划。该裁决引发市场对欧央行买债计划可持续性的担忧，使欧元汇价受压。不过，市场另一方面则认为欧洲央行只要证明买债计划的合适及必要性，将不会对未来购债计划造成影响。
美国 3 月份贸赤扩大至 444 亿美元
面对疫情美国人难於外出消费，在此情况下原以为美国的贸赤会因而减少。但有趣是这想法并不正确。昨晚数字显示，美国 3 月份贸赤扩大至 444 亿美元，按月大幅增加 11.6%。主要是出口大跌 9.6%所致。受疫情影响，美国人确减少了消费，但入口跌幅只有 6.2%，远不及出口下跌严重。相信这是导致美国在疫情下贸赤仍大幅攀升的原因。贸赤愈大意味愈多美元从美国流失，这可见为不利美元因素
