欧盟和英国就「脱欧」问题有成效的讨论
欧盟首席谈判代表巴尼耶於周二出席伦敦进行的晚宴後表示，与英国谈判代表弗罗斯特进行具有成效的讨论，据悉双方讨论建立公平竞争环境及监管架构等议题。较早前英国首相约翰逊及德国总理默克尔通话时表明已准备好在没有贸易协议下「脱欧」，届时会采用澳洲和欧盟的贸易模式丶即大部分根据世界贸易组织基本规则，但在部分货物或服务有特定协议。不过，即使英国未来贸易上存在不确定性，但由於欧英双方同意於 7 月至 8 月初再进行多轮谈判，并加快谈判节奏，以期待本年秋季前取得突破，故市场目前仍保持观望态度。
黄金升至2011年高位
7月8日美元指数跌至两周最低，因美股上升提振风险替代。由於对疫情蔓延，国际紧张局势以及美元疲软，金价突破1800美元关口，现货黄金盘中一度涨幅1.3％，刷新2011年 9月以来高点至1818.02美元/英镑。
