英国疫情续渐受控
英国政府公布，截至周一(8 日) 当地新增确诊新冠病毒人口续回落至 4,712 人，是去年 9 月以来首见低于 5,000 人。另外，当地疫苗接种亦见加速，据政府数字显示，当地已超过 2,200 万即约 3 分之 1 人口至少接种第一剂疫苗。英国本周已实行第一阶段解封，即英格兰地区近百万学童及青少年已可回返校复课。英国疫情持续受控，正增掘市场对当地经济有望从 300 年以来最大的衰退中快速复苏的憧憬。
日本第 4 季GDP 增幅低于初值
日本公布去年第 4 季国内生产总值(GDP)终值增长向下修订至 11.7%，增幅低于初值的 12.7，但为连续第 2 季出现双位数字增长。不过，日本 1 月份家庭支出按年则意外下跌 6.1%，跌幅大于市场预期的下跌 2.1%，前值为下跌 0.6%，反映于疫情限制措施之下，正严重打击市民消费意欲。上周，日本首相菅义伟将东京地区的紧急状态延长至 3 月 21 日，使市场忧虑当地首季经济于缺乏内需支持下，可能会出现大幅放缓情况。
