《北溪 2 號》最快今年年底使用
俄羅斯輸往德國的天然氣管道 -《北溪 2 號》(Nord Stream 2) 正式完成。這管道穿越波羅的海海底，將使俄羅斯的天然氣直接出口到德國。而透過此管道，日後俄羅斯輸往德國的的天然氣數量將增加一倍。可想像得到了俄羅斯源源不絕的能源供應下，料有助日後德國經濟加快發展。過去美國三屆政府一直反對這天然管道的建設，擔心該管道會增強莫斯科對歐洲的經濟和政治影響力。據了解，管道建設雖完成，但仍有待測試及驗收。料最快於今年年底通氣。由於俄羅斯早已去美元化，相信通氣後賣天然氣俄羅斯是會收取歐元。
美國8 月份PPI升至11年來的高位
上周五(10 日) 美國公布的 8 月份生產物價指數(PPI) 按年大升 8.3%，成為自2010 年 11 月，即近 11 年來最高生產物價通脹水平。該數字就是按月比也有 0.7%增長。現市場關注於本周二(14 日) 公布的消費物價指數(CPI) 情況，以衡量美國的最新通脹形勢，及後聯儲局的貨幣政策趨向。聯儲局議息會將於本月 22 日舉行，市場普遍估計聯儲局不會急於下周宣布削買債時間表。但如本周美國公布的通脹數字高企，或會影響市場看法。
