中美雙方就經濟等議題未達到任何共識
新華社報道，中國國務院副總理劉鶴與美國財長耶倫於周三舉行視像通話後，雙方均認為中美經濟關係十分重要，未來將本著平等及相互尊重的態度，就宏觀經濟形勢和多雙邊領域合作進行了廣泛交流，且對彼此關心的問題坦誠交換了意見，並願意繼續保持溝通。這是繼上周國務院副總理劉鶴與美國貿易代表戴琪會面後，中美高層官員再次接觸，惟市場幾乎看不到雙方就什麼具體議題達成共識。且內地媒體使用「坦誠」字眼，或暗示雙方意見分歧仍較大。
澳洲GDP按季增長 1.8%
澳洲統計局公布，當地首季國內生產總值(GDP) 按季增長 1.8%，增幅高於市場預期的 1.5%，但較前季的增長 3.1%有所放緩。若以年率計算，澳洲 GDP 為增長 1.1%，扭轉前季收縮 1.1%的跌勢，增幅亦優於市場預期的 0.6%。期內，消費及企業支出共貢獻 GDP 達 1 個百分點，而房屋建築及銷售亦貢獻0.5 個百分點。反映低息環境持續帶動當地疫後復蘇，此外，數字亦表明當地經濟表現已超過疫情大流行前的水平。
