加拿大央行决定维持利率不变
加拿大央行於议息会议後，决定维持利率於 0.25%不变，且承诺继续执行每周最少 50 亿加元的政府债券购买计划。会後声明指出，有初步迹象企业复工复产及被压抑的需求正导致就业及产出出现初步反弹，但认为经济仍需非常规货币政策支持。为支持复苏并实现通胀目标，央行准备在必要时提供进一步货币刺激。此外，央行重申，虽然全球各地经济正在重启，但全球及加拿大的经前景仍极不确定。
因总体环境经济数据改善,使黄金回落
周三因为疫苗的进展叠加高盛等三家大行财报大好，推动股市上涨，同时美国制造业数据也明显改善，因此这使得黄金小幅回落。但是周三黄金总体维持在1800美元上方，抗跌性明显，因为尽管经济数据改善，但是随着疫情二次蔓延，多数投资者对於数据改善的可持续性持怀疑态度。此外美联储部分官员进一步下调了美国的经济预期，也对黄金构成支撑。日内关注美国零售销售数据丶失业金数据和欧银决议。
