印度政府数字显示，当地 3 月份黄金入口只有 25 吨，按年大幅减少 73%。印度货币卢比兑美元 汇价近期屡创历史低位，严重削弱印度消费者对黄金的购买力。加上居家隔离领更阻碍了印度消 费者的购金意欲。相信上述印度的情况并不限於只发生在印度。中国及对黄金着有较大需求的亚 洲亦面对同样状况。饰金，是黄金需求的重要一环。缺少了饰金需求会限制金价整体的上升能 力。
【澳洲央行也如期维持利率0.25%】
澳洲央行於议息会议後，如期维持利率於 0.25%不变。声明指，央行承诺将采取一切措施以支持就业，并将一切手段，以维持 3 年期国债收益率於 0.25%目标。 此外，基於疫情关系，央行预计第二季经济将录得非常大的收缩水平，失业率或升至多年以来最高水平，故於达致充分就业 及通胀达致目标前，将不会加息，且将采取货币及财政政策弱化衰退预期。不过，若市场流动性 紧张情况有所改善，则会考虑减少买债。
