台積電指明年晶片短缺情況仍嚴重
雖然晶片產線已全數投入、但仍不夠！台積電日本子公司社長表示，明年(2022年)晶片短缺情況仍將嚴重。朝日新聞報導，台積電日本子公司社長(總經理)小野寺誠27日在名古屋舉行的車用相關技術展示會「Automotive world」上發表演說，關於全球持續短缺的車用晶片、小野寺誠表示，「明年仍將非常嚴重」。因宅經濟需求，令到PC、遊戲機用晶片訂單急增，車用晶片短缺、迫使車廠進行減產，而晶片從接單到出貨通常需半年時間，目前供需持續呈現緊繃狀態。小野寺誠指出，「產線已全數投入、但即便如此仍不夠」。台積電日前已正式表明有意在日本興建半導體工廠，而關於設廠地點及合作夥伴，小野寺誠未明確說明，僅表示「待獲得董事會通過後、會正式發表」。
