拜登政府推出2.2萬億經濟刺激計劃
在推出1.9萬億美元的疫情紓困救助計劃之後，星期三，拜登政府正式推出一項總值超2.2萬億美元的經濟刺激計劃。拜登表示，這是一世代僅有一次的罕有龐大投資計劃。在未來八年內，計劃將會主要投資於交通基礎設施，供水系統，高速網絡與製造業方面。 同時，拜登政府會將企業利得稅提高至28%，為該計劃提供資金。
受此消息刺激，美國納斯達克指數全日上升1.54%，標普500指數錄得歷史新高3994.41。金價在觸及3月8日以來的低位1678美元后亦急速反彈超過30美金，收市報1707美元，重回1700美元水平。
