新西兰央行维持指标利率0.25%
新西兰央行於议息会议後，宣布维持指标利率於 0.25%不变，符合市场预期。不过，同时将大规模资产购买计划(LSAP)规模从 600 亿扩大至 1,000 亿新西兰元，央行声明指，新冠病毒疫情对全球经济的影响仍然持续，全球及当地经济展望仍具高度不确定性，当地亦重新实施社交限制。而有关不确定性将损及家庭及企业开支意欲，使基本经济预测仍有下行风险。
美国再多 16 家能源企业申请破产保护
美国大型律师事务所发表最新报告显示，於 7 月份当地再多 16 家能源企业申请破产保护。而自本年 3月油价急挫以来，当地累计已超过 50 家油气企业申请破产保护，当中从事页岩油勘探及开采的企业约有 29 家，数据反映目前约 40 美元水平的油价，仍低於大部份页岩油生産商获取盈利的水平，亦进一步解释为何油组联盟於 40 美元的油价水平，愿意放宽减产力度的原因。
