歐洲央行首席經濟學家連恩(Philip Lane)表示，歐元區當前的通脹並不是貨幣政策行動的觸發因素，而是因服務價格和薪資增長依然疲軟。連恩在一次會議上表示，就中期而言，通脹離 2%還有一段距離，這並不是貨幣政策行動的觸發因素。他補充稱，在近期價格上漲的趨勢開始從商品價格蔓延至服務和薪資之前，很難相信這種趨勢是持久的。
