歐盟輪任主席國法國宣布，歐盟決定向俄羅斯實施新一輪制裁，主要措施包括取消俄羅斯的貿易最惠國待遇，禁止進囗俄羅斯鋼鐵，出口奢侈品至俄羅斯，亦禁止歐盟企業投資於俄羅斯石油、天然氣行業。另外，歐盟正尋求取消俄羅斯在國際貨幣基金組織和世界銀行等國際組織的會員資格。歐盟制裁行動雖見升級，惟仍未涉及禁止俄羅斯石油、天然氣進口。加上，俄烏會談加速，國際油價 (WTI)續見回落。
