週一（10月17日）亞洲時段，金價出現輕微上升。因上週末以來英國政府積極處理養老金危機和減稅問題，並準備提前就中期財政計劃發表，幫助英鎊反彈上升壓制美元，從中給予金價避險支撐。目前金價在1652.5美元/盎司附近位置，因1640附近的逢低買盤和美元的小幅走弱，給金價提供上升動能。
因上週美國CPI數據意外造好，以及美聯儲官員的鷹派講話和市場對美聯儲終端利率的預期上升5%，令美債收益持續上升，錄得十一周連升，上週五美元指數也震盪走高，令金價跌穿1660支撐位，最低觸及1640關口。本周更有機會跌至1620附近位置，甚至在1600位置。
技術分析：
目前1640關口給金價提供支撐，KDJ差不多已到超賣區域，金價出現了反彈跡象，上方留意5天均線1660.05附近阻力，若能收復該阻力，則削弱短線看空信號；21天均線阻力在1670.50附近，10天均線阻力在1681.89附近。
