比特幣再創歷史新高，升破66,000美元關卡
美國首家比特幣期貨ETF「ProShares比特幣策略ETF」(BITO.US)，10月19日正式在美股掛牌，象徵加密貨幣融入傳統金融體系。投資人信心大振，帶動比特幣價格於20日升破66,000美元關卡，再創歷史新高。CNBC、《華爾街日報》等外媒報導，根據CoinDesk報價，20日比特幣價格衝上66,974.77美元，超越4月中旬創下的前高64,889美元。如同其他新興資產，比特幣價格有如雲霄飛車，1年前價格不到12,000美元，今年1月突破30,000美元區間，4月飆升至64,000美元以上，然後在7月跌至29,600美元，價格幾乎腰斬。在10月20日這波升勢，主因是美國證券交易委員會(SEC)終於點頭放行，讓美國誕生首檔比特幣期貨ETF「BITO」。BITO於19日掛牌交易，首日股價勁揚4.85%，當天交易量約達9.81億股，成為美股史上首日交易量第二高的ETF。
