比特幣可能是令金價挫折的主要元兇
黃金價格在謹慎市場環境中，持續受壓于1700美元下方，目前處在1685美元附近徘徊，未能再次突破1700。截至香港時間08時27分，黃金價格跌幅達到0.06%，至1685美元。因美國樂觀數據、新刺激法案的希望和全球疫苗接種的增加，支撐美元升勢而施壓黃金復蘇前景。此外，雖然中美地緣政治戰促使風險加劇，但黃金卻不再成為投資者的避難所，反而投資者傾向轉為投資比特幣，令到比特幣持續獲得動能創造破紀錄的升勢。所以比特幣可能是造成金價挫折的主要元兇。隨著21日移動均線1720美元的明顯下行突破，黃金價格很可能突破1676美元的月度低點。
API 公布原油庫存增加比市場預期多
美國石油協會(API) 公布，上周原油庫存意外增加 390 萬桶，市場原先預期為增加 10 萬桶。而汽油庫存則大減 600 萬桶，市場預期為增加 70 萬桶。至於蒸餾油庫存則增加 260 萬桶，市場原先預期為增加 20萬桶。美國原油庫存上升，加上歐洲新冠疫情反彈，增加原油需求前景的不明朗性，市場正觀望油組會議結果。
