澳洲央行再一次維持息率在0.25%水平
於議息會後，澳洲央行如預期維持息率不變於 0.25%水平。在其聲明中，澳央行並揚言會維持低息政策一段長時間。不過異於其上周言論，行長洛威指正準備增加量寬政策並在有需要時使用，以保持低息環境。回憶上周洛威曾指因經濟受疫情損害較預期輕，所以相信不再需進一步推量寬政策。不過，上述洛威言論並未影響澳元匯價。
全球石油減產措施開始達共識
據彭博引述消息指，俄羅斯及數個石油出口國組織及盟友國家，正在逐漸就目前的減產措施延長多一個月達共識，而非按原定計劃僅減產至 7 月為止。消息又指沙特一直支持將減產措施延長一至三個月，這與俄羅斯傾向放鬆減產措施的立場存在分歧。俄羅斯願意妥協消息，使市場憧憬各產油國可能最快於本周四(4 日) 的會議上宣布延長協議，令產油國的減產幅度可維持創紀錄新高多一個月，消息支持油價表現。
