美国财政部长在国会促请出更多财政政策
美国财政部长姆钦及联邦储备局主席鲍威尔於参议院银行业委员会的听证会上，均促请国会推出更多财政政策支援经济。当中，姆钦建议国会将有关资金调拨到援助小型企业及失业人士的项目。至於鲍威尔则表示，经济复苏的路途仍然漫长，餐饮丶酒店丶娱乐场所等受疫情打击最严重的行业可能需要更多援助，政府於现阶段提供补助金是比较适当的做法。
澳洲央行宣布维特利率不变
澳洲央行於本年最後一次议息会後，宣布维特利率及 3 年期国债收益率目标於 0.1%不变，同时维持其 1,000亿澳元的买债计划，符合市场预期。央行声明指出，经济复苏正在进行中，近期数据整体上优於预期，但指经济复苏预期仍将是不平稳及缓慢，且仍然取决於政策支持。
