美國商務部長雷蒙表示美國總統拜登已要求團隊研究移除部分前任美國總統特朗普時對內地進口商品關稅的選項以壓抑美國通脹，並指美國總統拜登已要求團隊對此作出分析，而團隊目前正處於工作過程，並指家庭用品、單車等產品可能有機會移除關稅，而美國政府將保留部分鋼鐵及鋁關稅以保障美國工人及鋁行業。美國移除部份內地進口關稅不但有利壓抑美國通脹，紓緩聯儲局加息壓力，更有利刺激內地出口，以致全球經濟前景。
