美國罷工潮持續不斷
由於疫情於美國尚未完全過去，而且聯儲局亦說明現時出現於美國的通脹只屬短暫性質。但美國的勞工並非這樣想法，他們正要求資方加薪，並在美國出現大大小小的罷工潮。根據美國康奈爾大學(Cornell University) 所作調 查顯示，於今年內美國國內共有 176 次罷工事件。而單是在 10 月便有 17 次罷工。就以本月初為例， 在加州南部的一間醫院便有 28,000 名醫療人員罷工。而最新的工潮則發生於家樂氏(Kellogg)的工場， 據了解有 1,400 人罷工。事件反映聯儲局有盡早收緊貨幣政策壓力以壓抑通脹。
