美國要求原油消費大國考慮釋出部分戰備儲油
因為能源價格不斷上升，市場傳出，美國總統拜登(Joe Biden)已要求幾個原油消費大國考慮釋出部分戰備儲油(SPR)，攜手壓抑油價。路透社17日獨家引述未具名消息人士報導，拜登和數名高級幕僚，最近幾週開始向日本、南韓、印度等盟國及中國提起釋出戰備儲油的議題，其中日方已給予正面回應。印度的戰備儲油並不多，為什麼也成為拜登政府詢問的對象？一名消息人士表示，「我們希望由全世界最大的幾個原油消費國向石油輸出國家組織(OPEC)傳達一個訊息，那就是『你必須改變你的行為』。」不過，數名熟知詳情的人士警告，有關協商尚無定論、也未無最終決議。報導引述一名參與討論的美方消息人士指出，若真要釋出戰備儲油，美國的份額可能得超過2,000 – 3,000萬桶，才能對市場造成影響。美方可能透過賣出或借出戰備儲油的方式釋放原油。
