美國預計將釋出3,000-3,500萬桶的戰略儲油
美國政治新聞媒體「政客(POLITICO)」11月22日引述消息來源報導，美國政府已經準備好與幾個國家協同合作釋放戰略石油儲備以壓抑近期持續上漲的汽油價格，美國預計將釋出3,000-3,500萬桶的戰略儲油。白宮發言人則表示，關於是否釋出戰略儲油仍未做成決定，但所有對話都持續進行，政府也廣泛考慮各種工具，以及是否行動與何時行動。美國能源部長格蘭霍姆（Jennifer Granholm）近期已經多次表示釋出戰略儲油的機率升高，因零售汽油價格的上漲對大眾造成衝擊，也令拜登總統的支持率下降。拜登總統此前已經呼籲石油輸出國組織及其產油盟國（OPEC+）應該擴大增產的步伐來降低油價已經對抗通膨，但OPEC+仍維持每月逐步增產40萬桶/日的決定。
