美國 11 月非農職位只增加 21 萬名，成為今年內最低增長水平，亦遠較市場原先估計有 50 多萬的增長情況差。至於失業率則降至 21 個月低位的 4.2%。至於 11 月平均每小時工資增長，按月按年分別上升 0.3%及 4.8%。從偏低的失業率水平反映出，整個美國勞工市場正出現緊張情況。而工資雖顯著上升，但美國人卻拒絕上班，使新增職位難於上升。現在美國距離疫情前仍失去 420 萬個崗位，但失業率則已重返疫前水平。整份就業報告料不會阻礙聯儲局於本月 14 日及 15 日作出進一步收緊貨幣政策的決定。現重點反而要觀察是，未來變種病毒 Omicron 於美國的變化及本周五(10 日) 美國公布的 11 月通脹(CPI)數字。
