美國9月CPI 升幅達5.4% 高於預期
美國勞工部公布9月份消費物價指數(CPI)同比5.4%，預期5.3%，前值5.3%；美國9月核心CPI同比4%，預期4%，前值4%。美國CPI升幅超出預期，意味著通脹壓力依然存在。同時隨著天然氣、煤炭和石油供不應求，全球出現能源短缺危機。自2021年初開始，歐盟天然氣價格上漲了幾倍，煤價飆升更迫使中國於9月限電、及逼使工廠停工，影響到全球的供應鏈。
數據公佈後，美國股市及指數和期貨全面轉漲轉跌。納斯達克綜合指數和期貨跌0.01%，標準普爾500指數跌0.11%，道瓊斯工業平均指數跌0.17%。數據顯示，聯儲局明年9月加息0.25厘的可能性高達90%。
