美聯儲寬鬆政策立場為金價帶來支持
美聯儲主席鮑威爾和聯邦公開市場委員會(FOMC)決議雙雙發出講話，使金價得到短暫支持，目前正處於1780美元上方伺機而動。鮑威爾在美聯儲維持貨幣政策不變而低估通脹率后講話，強調出色的就業報告不意味著刺激縮減。黃金迎接多頭來襲之際，仍持續受到亞洲疫情重燃和西方國家持續出現疫苗接種不平衡的困境，增加黃金市場的負擔。截至香港時間08時23分，黃金價格漲0.21%，至1785.20美元。
美國聯儲局維持利率及每月買債規模不變
美國聯儲局於議息會議後，宣布維持利率及每月買債規模於 1,200 億美元不變，符合市場預期。議息聲明指，美國經濟活動及就業有所增強，通脹上升很大程度受暫時因素影響，強調經濟前景仍面臨風險，聯儲局重申將使用所有工具來支持經濟。此外，又指經濟發展很大程度取決於新冠疫情進展，一旦風險重現，局方將為調整貨幣政策作準備。
