航空業前景開始轉好
大型航空展向來是航空商業活動重心，不但能讓飛機迷一睹新機風采，業界高層也能藉此敲定新協議。隨著航空業逐漸走出新冠肺炎(COVID-19)疫情陰霾，波音(Boeing Co.)股價也開始慢慢上升。Barron`s、CNBC報導，週日(11月14日)展開的杜拜航空展(Dubai Airshow)，是疫情擊沉航空旅遊後首個重大展覽。阿聯酋航空(Emirates)已宣布向波音預購兩架「777 Freighter」貨機，而沙烏地阿拉伯航空(Saudi Arabian Airlines)則正在跟波音洽商，想預購一架廣體飛機(wide-body jet)。除此之外，波音也在展覽上締結服務夥伴聯盟、敲定永續性發展計畫。波音執行副總裁Stan Deal 14日表示，「貨機市場非常火熱，這是能看到實質成長的領域。」波音已宣布為北美、歐洲新增三條737-800BCF客機改裝貨機生產線。Deal並表示，波音今(2021)年以來表現相當不錯，至今的淨接單量約有309架、總接單數則為720架，是不錯的開始。他說，這次航空展公司還在繼續接洽生意，預測年底前還能拿到更多訂單，對明年營運頗為有利。針對疫情進展，Deal則表示波音關注的是全球疫苗覆蓋率。他說，疫苗覆蓋率跟一國市場的復甦速度亦步亦趨，預測疫苗普及有望重振一般大眾對於經濟復甦的信心。
