英伦银行决定维持利率0.1%
英伦银行於议息会议後，政策委员会 (MPC) 以 9:0 全票决定维持利率於 0.1%水平不变。并以 8:1 的票数决定扩大资产购买规模 1,000 亿英镑至 7,450 亿英镑，并预期年底前後完成买债。行动符合市场预期。英伦银行声明指，从近期数据显示，当地经济从本年 5 月起复苏，不排除当地第二季经济收缩程度，较 5 月时预期为轻。不过，由於当地劳动力大幅走弱，已为采取进一步行动以刺激经济作出准备，惟未有提及会否实行负息政策。
美国上周初领失业金人数虽回落,但不及市场预期
美国上周初领失业金人数进一步回落至 150.8 万人，为连续第 11 个星期回落，但不及市场预期的130 万，亦是连续第 13 个星期人数逾 100 万，前值修正为 156.6 万人。同期，持续申领失业救济人数为 2,054.4 万人，按周减少 6.2 万人，亦超出市场预期的 1,980 万人。美国初领失业金人数不及预期，增加市场对疫情持续打击就业市场的担忧。
