英国内阁办公室大臣高文浩与欧盟委员会副主席塞夫乔维奇，在布鲁塞尔会面後发表声明指，双方在北爱尔兰边境管制及药物供应等问题上达成原则性协议。英方将撤回内部市场法案中，具争议的部分，为双方谈判消除一大障碍。目前市场焦点将集中於捕鱼业问题，且看双方能否於馀下时间达成共识。不过，由於时间紧迫，市场普遍预期双方最终或只会达成一份较为薄弱的贸易协议，旨在避免无协议下脱欧。
