英國有超過4成企業有意把薪酬加幅與通脹水平一致
英國工業聯合會(CBI) 周一(20 日) 公開其最新調查顯示，在其訪問的企業會員中，有 44%企業表示有意把薪酬加幅與通脹水平一致。當中更有 24%企業表示願意把加薪幅度超越通脹。換言之，在受訪企業中，有近七成是支持增加薪酬。這比例據 CBI 所指，是自 2009 年有同類調查以來最高。上述報告或會增加英倫銀行加息壓力。因為倘若英通脹短期不受控，英國企業將要被逼增加薪酬，而薪酬一旦上升，又將會推升通脹造成惡性循環。所以上述因素會給予英倫銀行壓力，必須趕在企業增加薪酬前出手打壓通脹。
新西蘭政府降低防疫警戒至第三級
新西蘭總理阿德恩宣布，周二(21 日)起將奧克蘭防疫警戒由四級警戒降至三級，即容許最多 10人參加婚禮非接觸式服務，但學校及辦公室仍要關閉，企業僅限提供非接觸式服務。總理阿德恩重申，當局堅持消除病毒的防疫策略，有關工作仍持續，所以只調低至三級警戒，並指有信心當地沒有大規模未被發現的傳播，而全國其他地區則維持二級防疫警戒。
