英國首相指外資承諾將投入97億英鎊打造減碳商機
Yahoo Finance報導，英國首相約翰遜週二(10月19日)在全球投資峰會上發表談話時指出，英國是「風力發電業的沙烏地阿拉伯」，後續還得成為「氫能源的卡達」、如此才能創造出淨零排放的未來。約翰遜對微軟(Microsoft)共同創辦人比爾蓋茲(Bill Gates)等與會來賓表示，企業必須在「煤炭、汽車、現金和樹木」這四個出現進展的領域、做出更強而有力的減排承諾。約翰遜週二在全球投資峰會上宣布18項新貿易和投資協議、總額達97億英鎊外資環保投資方案，英國至少將創造30,000份新工作。Thomson Reuters報導，福特汽車公司(Ford Motor Company)週一宣布，計畫對位於英格蘭北部的Halewood廠最多投資2.3億英鎊(3.16億美元)進行改造、使其成為電動車(EV)零件廠。
