西班牙经济受到疫情严重影响
西班牙央行称，受疫情影响当地经济於 2020 年最差情况可收缩 15.1%。而债务与 GDP 比例甚至会直冲上 126.7%。面对如此严峻形势，西班牙警告欧盟必须尽快通过 7,500 亿欧元的援助基金。似乎现在压力愈来愈大，迫使丹麦丶荷兰丶瑞典及奥大利等这欧盟四小国於 7 月 17 日及 18 日的大会上通过上述方案。
美国财长指正在争取通过新一轮经济刺激方案
美国财长努钦於众议院金融服务委员会听证会上表示，正争取国会於 7 月底前通过新一轮经济刺激方案，当中包括再推出薪酬保障计划及针对特定行业作出缓助等。此外，财政部及美联储正研究延长较早前推出的紧急贷款工具期限，并相信随着经济复苏，失业情况逐步改善，美国下半年经济环境将会出现「明显改善」。努钦言论增加市场对政府即将推出新一轮刺激经济措施的憧憬。
