G7 Finance Ministers Likely to Reach Consensus on 15% Minimum Corporate Tax Rate Plan

The Financial Times reported that this Friday, Saturday (28th and 29th), G7 finance ministers and central bank governors will hold a video conference. The newspaper estimated that at the meeting, the finance ministers of the seven countries may possibly reach a consensus on the 15% minimum corporate tax rate proposal, and the agreement will be finalized when they meet in London on June 4. It will be formally signed at the G7 Leadership Summit on June 11. If G7 succeeds in passing the minimum corporate tax plan, the next step is not to rule out that G7 will make further sell the idea to G20 member states. According to the above reports, the implementation of the world’s 15% minimum corporate tax will be far earlier than everyone can imagine. It is recommended that everyone be prepared for investment.
