IMF 把2021年全球GDP增長預期上調至6%
隨著全球範圍Covid-19疫苗接種計劃的推進，國際貨幣基金組織IMF預計2021年全球經濟將以更強勁的節奏復甦。IMF預期今年全球經濟將增長6%，高於較早期5.5%的預期。而2022年的全球經濟增長預期亦從較早前的4.2%上調至4.4%。
IMF預計今年美國經濟將迎來強勁增長，2021年GDP有望回復甚至超過疫情前的水平，領先於其他主要發達經濟體。而作為2020年唯一一個錄得GDP正增長的主要經濟體，IMF預計中國2021年GDP增長率可達8.4%，亞洲經濟主引擎的地位毋庸置疑。
