REINZ指新西蘭當地樓市升幅達26%
新西蘭房地產協會(REINZ)最新數據顯示，8 月全國樓價中位數續升至 85 萬新西蘭元 ，較去年同期的 67.5萬大幅上升 26%。當地樓市泡沬風險升溫，或促使新西蘭央行提早收緊貨幣政策。從最新新西蘭利率期貨價格變化顯示，新西蘭央行 10 月及 11 月分別加息 25 個基點的機率已達共識，而於明年2 月份再加息 25 個基點(即利率將升至 1%)的機率亦高達 90%，反映市場對新西蘭央行加息預期非常高漲。
英國 8 月CPI按年增長達3.2%，增幅遠超於市場預期
英國 8 月消費物價指數(CPI)按年增長 3.2%，增幅遠高於市場預期的 2.9%，較前值大幅回升 1.2 個百分點，創 2012 年 3 月以來新高。主要受去年政府大規模救市行動，引發的低基數效應所帶動。期內，扣除食品和能源的核心 CPI 按年上升 3.1%，亦優於市場預期的 2.9%及前值的 1.9%。英國通脹大幅攀升，反映解封後的經濟活動正推高原材料及勞動力成本，可能導致經濟過熱，短期增加市場對英倫銀行或需要於明年中收緊貨幣政策的憧憬。
