三藩市聯儲銀行行長對目前的經濟感樂觀
美國三藩市聯儲銀行行長戴利表示，現階段有多項因素影響勞工供應，例如家長須要留在家中照顧子女，部份人仍然擔心外出染病，以及失業補助金豐厚等，並認為當地勞工市場並非如僱主所說般緊張，目前仍有接近一千萬人失業。不過，其相信隨著經濟復原，大部分失業人口最終可以重回勞工市場。戴利言論反映其貨幣政策取態偏向溫和。
新西蘭的失業率重返疫情前水平的4%
新西蘭今晨公布第二季失業率急降至只有 4%，回觀第一季失業率為 4.7%。換言之，現在新西蘭的失業率已重返疫情前水平。良好的就業情況，加上當地第二季年通脹率高企 3.3%高於新西蘭央行定下的1%-3%通脹範圍，以及熾熱樓市等令市場大大增強新西蘭央行於本月議息會上加息預期。而根據新西蘭利率期貨價格變化顯示，現市場估計新西蘭央行於本月 18 日議息會加息機會已是共識。至於就業數字未公布前，市場估加息機會只有六成。而今早所見，新西蘭元匯價已攀上 70.40 美仙。
