中方因北戴河会议意外延迟, 令到中美首阶段贸易协议进展检讨会议推迟
路透社报道，中美两国因程序问题，决定推迟原定於上周六(15 日)举行的首阶段贸易协议进展检讨会议，暂未落实举行日期。据消息指，双方推迟会议是由於北戴河会议意外延迟，并指延期不代表中美贸易协议存在任何实质性问题。此外，又指中方未来将加快购入美国原油。而由於市场早前对双方会议不存过大厚望，故消息并未引发市场太大反应。
拜登因贺锦丽成为其竞选拍档,令到支持率上升
上周美国民主党候选人拜登挑选了女性参议员贺锦丽（Kamala Harris）成为其竞选拍档，市场似乎对这一组合相当接受。从路透社和 Ipsos 上周公布的民调结果显示，这组合宣布後，拜登阵营的支持率增加 1 个百分点，46%受访者表示将投票给拜登和贺锦丽，38%表示将投票给特朗普和彭斯。由於现在距离美国总统大选只约两个半月，提防往後美国股市将随着选情变化而作出波动。
