全球第三季度PC銷量下降、增幅縮至個位數
COVID-19疫情引發遠距工作及學習潮，帶動個人電腦大熱賣。不過，最新調查報告顯示，全球PC銷售熱潮看似退燒，原因包括晶片短缺及供應鏈問題，讓PC產業難以應付，抑制了早前經濟帶來的收益。MarketWatch等外媒報導，市場研究公司IDC發表最新報告，2021年第三季全球PC市場(包含筆電、桌機及工作站)保持成長，合計出貨量較2020年同期增加3.9%，達到8,670萬台，連續6季呈現增加，但是COVID-19疫情以來首見個位數增幅。DC研究經理Jitesh Ubrani 表示，「PC產業持續面臨供應鏈和物流困境的阻礙。不幸的是，上述問題在近幾個月未見明顯改善。」觀察個別品牌表現，僅戴爾(Dell)和蘋果(Apple)的銷量增長高於市場平均值。其中，戴爾全球出貨量年增26.6%，達到1,518萬台，蘋果Mac出貨量為764.5萬台，年增9.9%。聯想(Lenovo)全球出貨量年增3.1%至1,977萬台，惠普(HP)年減5.8%至1,759萬台，台廠宏碁和華碩並列第五，分別年增3.6%、1.4%至600萬台、598.2萬台。
