日本首相安倍晋三以健康理由宣布辞职。据《共同社》消息指，安倍为了表示负责，将会等到新的总裁选出後，再正式交接。然而，过去的党总裁选举可能需时至少两周。因此为短暂稳定政局，自民党可能会采用紧急投票法案，由国会议员 396 人加上原先自民党的各都道府县代表 141 人，共 537 人投票，这样最快可数天内以完成投票。
全球因素导致黄金上升
黄金上涨主要得益於市场对於美联储更长时间内维持宽松的预期。虑到美联储维持更长期的宽松，因此这对於美元不利，因此支撑金价。同时从全球范围内来看，新西兰联储和英国央行的负利率预期都对金价构成支撑。
