投資者避險情緒升溫 鞏固金價
全球股市位處高位，頻頻創下新高紀錄引發泡沫化情緒，投資者紛紛涌向黃金避險，巨量買單也推動黃金升勢。加拿大央行宣布將資產購買計劃規模從每周40億加元下調至30億加元，成為首個減少刺激的發達國家央行。但隨著地緣風險加劇，其給黃金帶來的沖擊減弱，而歐洲央行利率決議成后市驅動焦點，觀望是否如預期將按兵不動。截至香港時間08時22分，黃金價格微跌0.03%，至1793.10美元。美國10年期國債收益率跌幅達0.65%，至1.5538。
加拿大維持0.25%利率不變
加拿大銀行於議息會議後，宣布維持利率於 0.25%不變，符合市場預期。但同時將目前每周 40 億加元的購買國債計劃，自下周一(26 日) 起削減至 30 億加元。央行聲明指，由於家庭及企業已開始適應，新一輪疫情限制措施，故預期首季經濟增長將明顯強於早前預期。
