拉加德认为目前金融环境严重受到新型病毒疫情影响
欧央行行长拉加德於欧洲议会听证会时表示，目前金融环境较疫情前更为紧缩，因新型病毒疫情大流行及控制病毒传播的封锁措施导致欧元区经济活动出现前所未有的收缩。央行将於授权范围内使用所有适当的工具，阻止区内经济萧条丶通缩的局面。其又认为是次危机相关的措施是短暂丶有目标与合乎比例。言论反映若非疫情再度蔓，否则欧央行暂时倾向按兵不动。
短期黄金价格可能受压
近期因为市场对於经济复苏的乐观预期持续回升，推动股市持续走高，但是由於市场预期美联储在本周的决议上将会继续实施鸽派的货币政策，因此周一黄金小幅走高触及1700美元关口，并在周二进一步走高。总体而言近期市场的乐观情绪回升使得投资者减持手中的黄金净多头持仓，这都将对黄金构成压力。但是分析人士指出，全球经济当前更多的是反弹而非复苏，全球巨量宽松引发的通胀预期都是支撑黄金的因素。
