拜登將會對富人收取更高的資本利得稅
白宮國家經濟委員會主任萊恩迪斯透露，總統拜登將落實建議對富人開徵更高的資本利得稅，而受影響為每年收入超過一百萬美元的人士，估計約有 50 萬人。又指新的稅款將會有助降低長期基建投資成本，同時改革美國稅階，亦有助創造就業。不過，萊恩迪斯並沒有透露稅率，但外界估計，因投資而獲利的稅率將會由現時 20%大幅增加至 39.6%。
金價稍微回落
金價在連續兩日反彈後，從每周高點謹慎回落，目前正處于1780美元附近徘徊。美債收益率和美元疲軟下滑都能為金價提供支撐，但在發生關鍵事件和美國刺激措施明朗前，黃金投資者大多數都處於觀望的態度。德克薩斯州將在美國眾議院取得新席位，暗示著共和黨人將可能獲得更多參眾議院控制權，促使美國總統拜登在基建項目上受到更多考驗。而隨全球新冠疫情升溫，都持續對近期的黃金多頭帶來威脅。截至香港時間08時17分，黃金價格微漲0.04%，至1781.70美元。
