新西兰央行维持利率0.25%不变
新西兰央行於今早的议息会议後宣布，维持利率於 0.25%不变。同时，将购买政府债券计划规模由原先的 300 亿大幅扩大至 600 亿新西兰元，均符合市场预期。央行声明指，正准备在必要时采取包括进一步减息在内的其他货币政策，并强调通过在可预见的将来维持低利率，货币政策将继续为当地经济提供重大支持。至於市场较关注的负利率政策，央行重申未来将成为政策选项之一，且保持将於 2021 年初前维持利率於 0.25%的前瞻指引，这意味央行年内再下调利率的机会不大。
联储局主席认为新冠病毒对经济的冲击有史以来最大
美国联储局主席鲍威尔表示，新冠病毒疫情对经济的冲击似乎是有史以来最大，经济衰退范围及速度更属空前，引发长期担忧。其估计年收入低於 4 万美元的家庭有回成将失去工作，并预计失业率或在下月达到高峰。此外，其表示联储局正以前所未有的速度及力度采取行动，而政策亦对经济提供一定程度的缓解及稳定，但可能需要额外措施，以避免疫情对经济造成长期损害，联储局将继续充分使用 各种工具，直至危机过去丶经济复苏顺利进行。至於对负利率看法不变，其表示这并非政策制定委员会考虑的事，又指之前关於负利率讨论的会议纪录显示，所有委员均反对负利率政策。
