澳洲維持利率及 3 年期國債孳息率不變
澳洲央行於議息會議後，宣布維持利率及 3 年期國債孳息率目標於 0.1 厘不變，符合市場預期。央行續認為，於 2024 年之前，就業及通脹均未能達標，而在實質通脹可持續地處於 2%至 3%的目標範圍之前，央行都不會加息，並會維持高度支持的貨幣政策直至達標。不過，央行將本年經濟增長預測由 3.5%上調至 4.75%。並指將於 7 月完成第二輪 1,000 億美元買債計劃後，再考慮未來的買債方向。
金價回調至1770美元上方
金價已修正回到保持在1770美元上方，因為現時缺乏風險催化劑帶動上升。美國財政部長耶倫發表升息論，盡管隨後已經重申未提供任何美聯儲般的建議，但已經成功擾亂市場氣氛，中國、日本和韓國休市更是令到黃金買家猶豫不決。美國ISM服務業采購經理人指數 (PMI)讀數提高，顯示出美國經濟復蘇增強，樂觀支撐黃金走勢，但後市觀望通脹率數據仍是驅動關鍵。截至香港時間08時18分，黃金價格微跌0.10%，至1777.30美元。
