美国两党仍未就疫情纾困方案达成共识
美国参议员议会定於本周五（7日）进入休会期，惟目前民主与共和和两党仍未就疫情纾困方案达成共识。白宫幕僚长梅多斯表示，对於国会可於短期内达成新刺激经济计划不表乐观，这使上周已到期的每周600美元的额外失业金纾缓措施继续延续。此外，当地新冠疫情严峻，使市场忧虑若及时及时出台新的纾困计划将令已封闭衰退的美国经济前景更严重的打击，使复苏前景变得更暗淡。
芝加哥联储局指放宽货币政策是才可推动经济复苏
芝加哥联储行长埃文斯表示，局方在任何时候均不会采取负利率，并导致政府增加财政支出以支持经济，财政预算案对推动经济复苏逐步。并只能在控制疫情的方向更加严格清晰，以及经济进一步实现充分就业，加大放宽货币政策才会真正有效。
