美国就第二阶段贸易协议并没有进一步行动
上周美国总统特朗普在面对记者时被问及，他是否仍然与中国就第二阶段贸易协议展开谈判时，特朗普指他现在与中国的关系并不理想，所以他觉得现今并非是正确时候与中国谈判。特朗普同时指出， 他现在有很多其他事情要处理，也无闲处理中国贸易问题。上述可视为是利好消息，即中美在贸易上暂可保持稳定，不会出现贸易纷争情况。
人民行动党得票率比2015年低10%
於过去周末的星加坡大选中，执政的人民行动党(PAP) 在 93 个议席中取得 83 个，继续以大比数胜出。不过人民行动党风光背後却要留意，因为在野工人党(WP) 从上届只有 6 席，现增加至 10席。 加上执政党的得票率在今次大选中只有 61%，较 2015 年当时得票率有 70%明显要低。从这一点反映出人民行动党的光环明显在减退。由於政治稳定对星加坡的经济发展相当重要,所以关心星加坡的投资者要密切留意。
