美国联储局公开上月中紧急议息的会议纪录显示，局内委员均认为，受新冠病毒疫情影响，使美 国经济前景急剧恶化，并对未来构成巨大不明朗性。故局方未来须动用所有工具应对，至於利率 方面，局方将在较长时期内锚定於底部水平。明显，於新冠病毒疫情前景未下，美联议息只能尽 力稳定市场信心，暂难给予市场更多启示。

周一因全球几个疫情最严重地区均出现新增病例增长放缓的情况，全球股市大涨，但是投资者未雨绸缪买入黄金以应对未来更多的不确定性因素，因此推动金价大幅走高。不过各国仍将出台更多的刺激措施以支撑经济，同时资金经理也小幅削减了黄金的净多头头寸。但分析师指出，各国持续的宽松措施可能会在未来成为引发市场通胀飙升的一个导火索，而黄金作为最佳的对冲通胀的工具将会明显收益。
