美國房地產經紀協會(NAR)數據顯示，5 月現有房屋銷售按月下跌 3.4%至 541 萬間，若按年計算，現有房屋銷售更大跌 8.6%，為連跌第四個月，且是近兩年以來最低水平。不過，美國平均樓價按年仍上升 14.8%至 40.76 萬。NAR 表示，鑑於按揭利率急劇上升，以及房屋庫存按月急增12.6%，故預計未來數月房屋銷售量將進一步下跌。
