美國上周新申領失業金人數創一年新低
美國上周新申領失業金人數續回落至 49.8 萬，創近一年以來最低，市場原先預期為 54 萬，較前值減少 9.2萬。期內，持續申領失業金人數增加 3.7 萬升至 369 萬，高於市場預期。反映新冠疫苗普及接種使更多州份放寬封鎖，以及拜登財政刺激計劃等，使動力市場復蘇步伐進一步增強。
英倫銀行維持利率及買債規模不變
英倫銀行於議息會議後，宣布維持利率及 8,950 億英鎊的買債規模不變。但將目前每周 44 億英鎊的購買資產速度減慢至每周 34 億英鎊，並上調本年經濟增長預測由 5%上調至 7.25%，至於明年經濟預測則由 7.25%下調至 5.75%。央行聲明指出，隨著疫苗接種計劃加快，及對疫情的限制措施放寬，料將能推動消費開支增加，故預期未來數季經濟復蘇力度將較原本的預期大。
