美國將撥款170億美元升級港口
11月5日，美國眾議院通過1.2兆美元基建法案，將交由總統拜登(Joe Biden)簽署成法，為美國史上規模最大的基建法案。拜登政府9日表示，其中170億美元將用於升級美國港口基礎設施，盼能解決持續已久的供應鏈危機。CNBC、CNN報導，拜登當局1.2兆美元基建法案尚未簽署成法，不過白宮在11月9日已宣佈，將斥資170億美元改善沿海及內陸港口、航道和邊境口岸的基礎設施。美國高級官員透露，政府將在未來60天內與美國陸軍工兵團合作，在沿海港口、內陸航道進行總價40億美元的修築工程，以提升港口的運轉效率。另外，拜登政府還計劃提撥34億美元，優先升級邊境口岸的老舊設施，希望促進與加拿大和墨西哥的邊境貿易發展。
