美國零售汽油均價創下7年新高
路透社10月11日引述消息來源報導，美國白宮正準備要求產油國家採取更多措施來支持全球的經濟復甦，稱美國政府當局密切關注原油以及汽油價格的走勢，並將運用所有工具確保美國以及全球能源市場的穩定。週一（11日），紐約原油期貨創下7年以來新高，最新報價來到每桶80.35美元，布蘭特原油價格也創下2018年以來的新高。美國白宮今年8月就曾在一份聲明當中要求石油輸出國組織及其產油盟國（OPEC+）提高產量，以遏制汽油價格的上漲，稱此對全球的經濟復甦造成威脅。美國國家安全顧問蘇利文（Jake Sullivan）表示，值此全球經濟復甦的關鍵時刻，OPEC逐步放鬆減產的決定根本不夠，因為到2022年都無法完全抵消減產的影響。10月份的OPEC+會議仍繼續維持每月增產40萬桶/日的計畫不變。
